If you are amazed with helicopters and airplanes, I am sure that someday you would want to fly one. But why wait for that opportunity when you can fly a helicopter now. Today most kids and kids at heart are hooked with miniature helicopter models that really work. These types of models are called rc helicopters or radio controlled helicopters. Like real helicopters they are quite difficult and challenging to fly though once you have learned proper flying techniques you would surely enjoy flying them.
Most rc-helicopters are bought in kits. RC-helicopter kits are needed to be assembled though there are some that are already pre-assembled but these types tend to cost more than those which are not assembled. RC-helicopters are often times powered by nitro gas though some types runs through batteries. Those that are powered by nitro gas tend to last longer on air but are quite noisy and are way expensive compared to the other type.
