My cousin Pauline is really having hard time dealing with her acnes. Every time she uses a treatment the acne on her back and face just worsen rather treated. So her only resort is to use foundation and concealers to hide the big red spots on her face and not to wear sleeveless shirts to cover the pimples. But she is really very eager to remove her pimples so she consulted a dermatologist on what treatment would be very suitable for her skin type.
The doctor said that her pimples are caused by stress. You read it right that’s STRESS. Her doctor explained that stress causes an over production of hormones thus causing too much sebum secretions. He doctor advised her to unwind a bit and use a very gentle and hypoallergenic soap for her body and face.
This is like hell. I’ve been photocopying some papers for the past three hours and I am only halfway. I got tired so I went to write in this blog to relax. I’m an associate in this accounting firm and I’ve been working here for the past two years. The pay is good but it irritates me that I have to sometimes do things that are not part of my job descriptions. Like this one, I have to photocopy tons and tons of documents that I don’t know if I have any use of. I think my boss is just out to get me. Anyway, I have to stop sulking now. Back to work. Uggh!
I’ve been walking around the neighborhood with four shopping bags on hand (yes, I’ve been shopping again). That’s when a (slightly) pretty girl approached me and said, “Hi girl! How’d you been?” I was surprised but I just said, “I’m good, how bout you?” We exchanged pleasantries and then went on our business.
To tell you the truth, I couldn’t remember where and how I met that girl. She looks awfully familiar but right now, my memory just deserted me. Oh well, maybe I’ll remember next time I see her.
My neighbor invited me to be one of her bridesmaids in her wedding. I didn’t really understand why she invited me because we were never close. We don’t even talk much, just a few hi’s and hello’s. So I was surprised when I received the invitation.
At first, I didn’t want to go but my mom made me. We got the bride and group red wine from wine of the month clubs online. I didn’t have any fun in the wedding. I’m just thankful that it was over.
I can’t believe it rained! I went to my friend’s house to get my books. I was on a “fit and fab” mood earlier so I decided to ride a bike instead of using the car. Unfortunately, it seems like the weather was not in a good mood. On the way home, the rain poured down heavily. I was completely soaked by the time I get home. The worse thing is my books and my compact flash memory card got wet as well. Guess I have to buy new ones. Darn..
My mom’s company will be celebrating its 75th anniversary this June. There will be a lot of parties as well as gatherings that will be held for the month. Her department is actually in charge for the gathering that will be held on the first week of June. Her boss assigned her and a few of her colleagues to decorate the venue as well as the theme for the gathering. Since I have nothing else to do, my mom asked me to help them decorate. I have once seen the place and it is quite big, making it hard for us to decorate the place so we decided to divide the group and think of different themes for the gathering.
One of my friends suggested that we must we have a forest themed design and require those who would attend to wear jungle themed costumes. Almost all of them disagreed so we decided to make the venue looked a bit classy and transformed it to a beautiful and elegant castle ball, requiring all those who would attend to be in their best gowns and tuxes. After figuring out the theme of the gathering we are now thinking of the logo design that my mom’s department would use. Since I helped with the work, I can also attend the event. I just wish that we would finish our task and have some time to find some gown and tuxes for ourselves.
For the past few days, I have already finished all my newly bought dvd’s, manicured my nails, read pocketbooks and talked with friends over the phone. I’ve even managed to browse and buy tsa locks, more books and more dvd’s online. At first, it was fun having all of this free time, being a newly grad and all. But sometimes, having too much free time could really suck. Just like today. Nothing interesting has happened. The only highlight of my day was watching the finale of American Idol 7. I cant wait to get a job. I hate being idle, even if it’s only been for a few days.
I’ve been trying to earn a few bucks by making cards and invitations. Actually, it started first as a hobby. I only made cards and invitations for my relatives then. Then my friends wanted to have one also and the next thing I knew, people are paying me to make them cards and invitations. It may sound boring, but making these kinds of things is actually interesting. It helps me challenge my creativity and it even brings out my softer side. Like for this week, a friend of mine asked me to make baby shower invitations for her. I plan to decorate the invitation with lots of fairies and magical creatures and other fairy tale characters. It may sound crazy and disorganized but don’t worry, I’m actually good at this.
A few years back, I got this terrible acne. It was so gross I didn’t even want to go out of the house. Luckily, the school year has just ended and I wasn’t required to attend classes. My friends would often tease me and call me names like “pimple face” or “girl with AIDS (Acne-In-Different-Sizes).” It really sucked.
Anyway, after a few weeks of sulking at home, I finally went to see a dermatologist for the proper medication. After days of continuous acne treatment, the pimples finally disappeared. I only had acne for only few weeks but it felt like years. Thank God the nightmare’s over. I didn’t have major acne problem ever since.
My mom was considering getting a life insurance. Though she was already old, she said that it was never too late to be prepared. Actually, her age was not an issue, for anyone can get life insurance (unless you’re dead :> ) Anyway, the only problem she encountered was that she was afraid of needles and some of the procedures required in applying for life insurance is to give a sample of your blood.
So there, once again, I tried researching online and the good news is I found out that there are companies that offers no exam life insurance. This means that a person can receive real coverage without the hassle of having to provide urine or blood samples. It also said that the benefits will not be reduced or changed despite any change in the age, occupation or health. I told my mom about it and she said that she will think about it
