Often times when we make a move, the hardest part of all is to make sure that nothing would break or be damaged before, during and after transportation. This is sometimes overlooked by other people when they deliver or transport goods or products. The science of movement, handling, and storage of material during transportation is called material handling. All material handling requires systematic recording and critical review to avoid unnecessary movements during travel.
Different types of material handling process are used for varying locations or purposes. Cranes are used at docks. Trucks are on the other hand are often times used for factory products and conveyor belts are used at airports. In material handling, the primary objective is to avoid damage and increase productivity in each material transport.
