Can’t get enough of watching Sex and the City on dvds and tv reruns?  Now, Samantha, Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda are back and they are hitting the big screens.  If you liked watching the series, you’ll probably like watching the movie since it probably feel like a big reunion for you.  Seeing the four women again would be fun. 

However, for first timers don’t feel sad because you can also relate to the movie without watching the series.  Michael King did a great job directing the movie and some scenes are actually funny.  For girls, seeing four independent and lovely women would be inspiring.  And for the guys, I think seeing these girls in their designer and sexy costumes would be enough.

What’s happening to Hollywood teen celebrities right now? It’s either they’re getting pregnant (below their legal age) or that they kept going in and out of drug rehab. Celebrities that were pregnant are Jamie Lynn Spears and (rumored) Ashlee Simpson. Those that have been rehabbed are Kristen Dunst, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. Some try to get back into the scene after treatment (like Lohan and Spears) but was unsuccessful because they always go back to their old partying ways.

Even Disney-supposed-to-be-role-models-for-kids stars are having their indecent pictures all around the internet. Miley Cyrus, who plays Hannah Montana in the Disney Channel Series, have been plagued with criticisms for having posed as nearly topless in the Vanity Fair magazine. Vanessa Hudges had her pictures posted in the internet wearing her underwear. I can’t believe their parents are letting them do whatever they wanted to do.

Yes! After months of waiting for the writer’s strike to be over, Gossip Girl is now definitely back. I have already watched the two new episodes and I can say that I am still hooked. I don’t usually like watching teen drama stuffs but there’s something about this series that keeps me coming back.  Maybe it’s the clothes, the music, the guys or the bitchiness of some of the girls.  Some may criticize the series and say that it is a poor adaptation of the book.  Well, who cares whether it follows the book or not as long as the viewers are entertained?  Anyway,  making the plot more interesting is the additional participation of Ice Princess/Sister of Buffy the vampire slayer Michelle Trachtenberg who plays Georgina or “G”.  What will happen next? I guess we will just have to keep on watching to find out.
